LITA of Marin

Taking the lonely out of aging since 1975

LITA's new video features several amazing volunteers and their dear friends who live in long-term care facilities around Marin. Made possible by a grant from Marin County Supervisor Judy Arnold, it was produced by Pam Haessly and Gary Howell of Jazzed About Media.

Holiday Gifts for the Elderly

Each year we deliver approximately 1600 – 2000 gifts to more than 35 facilities and low income housing throughout Marin County. Gifts are delivered to the facilities or picked up by the facilities in late December. Facility staff assist with the distribution to assure people receive a gift that will be enjoyed. One recipient responded, “LITA honey, I don’t know who you are, but you always give me just the right gift. I love my blanket and pink is my favorite color.”
